You’re Yordano Ventura, a hotshot young starting pitcher getting the ball for the AL champion Kansas City Royals in Game Two of the World Series. It’s the weekend before the Series begins on Tuesday, and you want to have some fun but don’t want to get too crazy and wear yourself out before the World Series begins.
If this were as recently as 10 years ago, the Royals might have worried about some of their younger players going out and partying too much, but Ventura is a 23-year-old living in 2014, and thankfully, we have Twitter now to entertain us while we’re bored:
Yep, Ventura seems to have quite literally posted these pictures simply to amuse himself and his followers on a slow Saturday night. He’s been a revelation for the Royals rotation, posting a 3.20 ERA in 31 starts this season. Royals manager Ned Yost will hand Ventura the ball to start Game Two of the World Series against the San Francisco Giants on Wednesday in Kauffman Stadium.
