Report: Ray Rice Could Return To NFL In One Month
By Josh Hill
Ray Rice is currently suspended for beating his in an elevator and consequently becoming one of the most hated men in America, but he could return to the NFL sooner than you think.
When Ray Rice was suspended for beating his wife earlier this year, many had the knee-jerk reaction to say he’ll never play in the NFL again. While it’s possible that he never returns to the superstar status he was at before the incident with his wife became public, the chances of Ray Rice returning to the NFL are higher than you think.

According to Jason La Canfora from CBSSports.com, the NFL could reinstate Ray Rice within the year as he could return to action in around a month.
"An appeal hearing date has been set, with a final decision expected to come in an expeditious manner thereafter, and all of that could be resolved by mid-November, which would conceivably allow Rice to sign with another team this season."
This is huge, as it could mean Rice begins his road to redemption less than a year after he destroyed his own world with whatever issues he has that caused him to beat his wife. It’s been a really bad year for Rice and there is absolutely no defending him, which is going to poise an interesting problem for players who literally will be paid to defend for him on offense with whoever he signs with.
That’s, of course, assuming he signs with someone as the Baltimore Ravens will not be welcoming him back right away and it’s hard to see another team doing so. Someone might take a chance on Rice, as he’s a Pro Bowl talent; however his image is forever damaged — rightfully so — and finding work once reinstated will be easier said than done.
