We are now just a few short hours away from the start of the 2014 World Series, where the American League Champion Kansas City Royals will take on the National League Champion San Francisco Giants. Who has the edge in this one? Well, there are a lot of different factors that you can throw into figuring that out, but at the end of the day, does it all really come down to which team has the most amount of players that hate using a razor?
Yes, when you really break it down, the amount of facial hair on a given team does indeed have a direct correlation to peak performance and who ends up taking the trophy home after four wins.
If you don’t believe this, that’s perfectly understandable. However, before you set that as your final conclusion, take a look at the graphic below and watch your mind change instantly.
Now, would you like to change the answer as to whether or not facial hair has nothing to do with the World Series?
After seeing this graphic, the New York Yankees might change their policy about proper facial grooming, which might lead in a return to the postseason. Now that would be the ultimate test to the facial hair theory as it relates to performance, especially with that roster.
