Although everybody in the Windy City is happy to have Derrick Rose back and presumably healthy, there is plenty of underlying concern regarding the status of the former NBA MVP.

This is of course a player who has missed the last two seasons with devastating knee injuries so anytime he even gives the slightest indication anything could be wrong, panic ensues.

Case in point, when the Chicago Bulls star fell to the ground after a missed lay-up attempt against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The play was rather routine and Derrick Rose was simply attempting to fight his way through the paint before his lost his balance in mid-air. That sent him crashing to the floor though the fall didn’t seem over the top nor did it appear as if Rose was injured on the play.

However the entire Chicago Bulls bench watched the play and rushed over to Rose after he didn’t immediately pop up.

It’s difficult to tell if Derrick Rose waved over the bench right before his arm goes out of the camera frame, but the mass amount of bodies storming across the court to help up a player who looked just fine was somewhat humorous.

Understandably gun-shy or not regarding Derrick Rose, it’s pretty clear he’s among the favorites in the Chicago Bulls locker room given the security detail that rushed to his aid.
