The 2014 World Series featuring the San Francisco Giants and Kansas City Royals has brought about some pretty great trash talk… from public libraries.
Yes, the Kansas City public library is in the midst of a Twitter battle with the San Francisco public library during the buildup to Game 1 of the series.
If two public libraries having a good-natured Twitter war doesn’t get you fired up for the World Series, I don’t know what will.
Still, hopefully the battle on the diamond is just a bit more fierce than this Twitter feud.
Game 1 is set for an 8:07 p.m. ET first-pitch on Tuesday in Kansas City at Kauffman Stadium.
