World Series: This Royals Fan Has Huge Moose Antlers (GIF)
By Hayden Kane
With the World Series underway in Kansas City, one Royals’ fan is showing his appreciation for Mike Moustakas with quite the prop.
Sure, you can blend in with the crowd and simply chant “MOOOOOSE” when Mike Moustakas is up to bat for the Kansas City Royals. Or, you can go the extra mile and walk around with gigantic moose antlers.
This Royals’ fan showed real commitment to the home team.
It is hard to argue with the results: through six innings, the Royals had just two hits against Madison Bumgarner. One of those hits was a double by Moustakas in this very at-bat. Just sayin’.

The narrative of this World Series entering Game 1 was the momentum of the Royals vs the experience of the Giants. A significant aspect of the momentum in Kansas City comes from the excitement of the fans and the buzz in the home crowd. Kauffman Stadium was absolutely hopping as Game 1 got started on Tuesday night.
The only problem is, the Giants jumped on James Shields right away for three runs in the first inning and quieted the crowd quickly. Now, the only thing that will get the fans back into the game is a Royals’ rally as they attempt a rare comeback victory.
And maybe the gigantic moose antlers will help too.
