College Football 2015 Hall Of Fame Ballot Includes Three Heisman Winners

Nominations for the College Football Hall of Fame ballot include many popular names and former Heisman Trophy winners.

Ballots for the College Football Hall of Fame have been released and as expected there are some rather notable names up for nomination which includes three former Heisman Trophy winners and an iconic head coach.

In total 75 FBS players and six FBS coaches appear on the College Football Hall of Fame ballot along with 87 players and 25 coaches from all other divisions of football. The most recognized names will likely include Rashaan Salaam of Colorado, Nebraska quarterback Eric Crouch and Texas running back Ricky Williams.

Alongside their nominations is Kansas State head coach Bill Snyder.

“Having a ballot and a voice in the selection of the inductees is one of the most cherished NFF member benefits,” said NFF Chairman Archie Manning, a 1989 Hall of Fame inductee from Ole Miss. “There is no group more knowledgeable or passionate about college football than our membership, and the tradition of the ballot helps us engage them in the lofty responsibility of selecting those who have reached the pinnacle of achievement in our sport.”

Voting for the College Football Hall of Fame inclusion will be done electronically and results will be announced on Friday, January 9 before the College Football National Championship Game which is scheduled to take place just a few days later.

After the announcement, the College Football Hall of Fame class will be inducted on December 8, 2015.

Ballots will be submitted by current members of the College Football Hall of Fame along with members of the of the National Football Foundation.
