When the New England Patriots took the field against the Chicago Bears on Sunday, they knew they were facing a struggling team. Still, you can’t assume you’ll just railroad a team because they’ve been having issues in recent weeks.
Or can you?
If you’re the New England Patriots, perhaps you can as they are currently destroying the Bears with a 38-7 lead coming out of halftime, much of that thanks to a 31-point second quarter.
Such was capped off by an impressive touchdown catch by Rob Gronkowski who is having a day for the ages with three touchdowns so far. His second of the afternoon came on a toe tapping drag which sent the Foxboro crowed into a frenzy.
Initially there was concern on both sidelines that Rob Gronkowski didn’t have full control of the ball as replays shows a little movement as he fell to the ground. However it didn’t appear as if the ground caused any issues and Rob Gronkowski did look to have full control despite some small shifting of the ball.
Not much later Gronk unleashed yet another impressive score, this one coming across the middle as he broke multiple tackles en route to giving the New England Patriots a 45-7 lead.
