It would appear that Chicago Bears general manager Phil Emory does not believe in Jay Cutler either. Or he is just a man of facts.
Either Chicago Bears GM Phil Emery is very blunt or very critical. Either way, the statements he made directed towards the team’s QB, Jay Cutler might appear to align with the opinions of the embattled player’s detractors.

Emery could potentially be added to a list of Cutler skeptics that include the likes of former Bears pro-bowl linebacker Brian Urlacher and former pro-bowl quarterback Donovan McNabb.
Although it was never actually confirmed, WR Brandon Marshall hinted at a possible rift with Cutler by forgetting to include his name among the Bears offensive talents in a post-game tirade a few weeks back.

Again, nothing is officially being reported that can confirm the veracity of this statement. However, when a front office member makes comments such as those, regardless of the ambiguity, it is never a great sign. The Bears were dealt a loss yesterday to the New England Patriots 51-23 in Foxborough. Cutler was 20-30 for 233 yards, 3 TD, and 1 INT; good enough for a 108.6 passer rating. On the season he has a 95.8 passer rating with 2,093 yards, 17 TD, and 8 INT. The Bears are not a winning football team; that much is certain. But how much blame can you rest on a man who is performing at a relatively high level? That is the question that those within the organization have to ask themselves.
