Weather reports suggest there is a possibility for snow come Sunday’s NFL game between the Denver Broncos and New England Patriots.

We’re still about a week away from Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos heading to Foxboro to play Tom Brady and his New England Patriots, but the matchup is already being touted as the best in the season thus far.

But what could make it better? Perhaps snow?

While forecasts are subject to change (and can at times do so rapidly), there is potential for flurries come the late Sunday afternoon tilt.

At this point some forecast models have suggested that snow could be falling come game time while other models suggest the storm isn’t likely to hit. Given that it appears to be a toss-up regarding snow fall though it would certainly be welcomed by most in what many anticipate as a potential shootout.

Ironically if it is to snow, it would be the first time we’ve seen such in an NFL game this season and would seem to be a little early in the weather pattern. Still, there’s no much better than football when the weather begins to dip in temperature and snow begins to fall.

We haven’t been treated to many snow games over the past few years (though of those a few have been rather epic) so hopefully this is a sign of things to come for the remainder of the season.

Snow or not, it’s expected that temperatures will be in the 40’s so it’s certain to be rather cool with or without any flurries.
