Udonis Haslem On Miami Heat: ‘I Don’t See Nobody Better Than Us’
By Bryan Rose
Udonis Haslem of the Miami Heat believes they are the best team in the NBA as he doesn’t see a roster more talented.

It appears as if Udonis Haslem has either spent his offseason in hibernation or apparently has taken a time machine back to 2012-13 as the veteran power forward thinks the Miami Heat are the best team in the NBA.
That may have held true a few years ago but without LeBron James, the Miami Heat are expected to take a step (or several) back. Haslem however doesn’t see it that way as he believes the games are played on the court, not on paper.
He’d be correct about that, but suggesting the Miami Heat as the best team in the NBA seems to be a bit overzealous.
While the Miami Heat aren’t going to be the best team in the NBA or even the Eastern Conference, they still are returning both Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade. They also brought in Luol Deng to soften the blow of LeBron James’ departure which should allow the Miami Heat to compete for a playoff spot.
Still, they’re well below some of the powerhouses in their conference let along significantly behind multiple teams in the extremely deep Western Conference.
Obviously it’s difficult to know just how much Udonis Haslem believes his own statement or if he’s simply attempting to puff out his chest in effort to pump up his teammates and fans for the upcoming season. Still, the sentiment comes off rather silly given there’s simply no way the Miami Heat are the best team in the NBA.
