The Philadelphia 76ers don’t know the difference between Travis Outlaw, who they traded for on Monday, or Bo Outlaw who hasn’t played in the NBA for seven years.

On Monday afternoon the Philadelphia 76ers, attempting to meet the NBA’s minimum salary floor traded for Travis Outlaw of the New York Knicks.
A veteran forward, the trade was Outlaw’s second of the offseason as just a few months ago the Knicks acquired the bench player from the Sacramento Kings.
Clearly, he’s not exactly the hottest of commodities since he’s being shuffled around for nothing more than salary purposes. In fact, it’s possible the Philadelphia 76ers may not even know who they traded for because they’ve apparently confused Travis Outlaw with former NBA player Bo Outlaw.
Bo Outlaw, who went undrafted played 14 seasons in the NBA though hung up the sneakers back in 2007. You’d think whomever put up his photo in place of Travis Outlaw would have noticed that, especially since the photo includes the name of the player.
Alas, it somehow slipped through the cracks and the Sixers were left with egg on their face.
Not only are they all but admitting to tanking their season away, they’re apparently tanking away their effort to update their website correctly as well.
It’s not expected that Travis Outlaw will be with the Philadelphia 76ers very long anyway, so the franchise may have been best served to not even update their roster.
