Which NFL teams are in panic mode through Week 8?

There might be half of the NFL season still to be played, but for many teams the season might as well be over. Unfulfilled expectations often will get the fanbase worked up and looking for answers. When that happen, the NFL panic meter starts begins to creep up into the danger zone.

It is an unfortunate part of the NFL that teams occasionally have to start over and rebuild. Rosters get old. Not all coaching hires work out. Sometimes, the wrong collection of personalities can lead to complete chaos. When these things happen, it is often best for ownership to simply hit the reset button and rebuild their team from ground up.

Sadly, that is the case with a number of teams this season. For a league that strives for parity, there are far too many truly bad teams right now. This coming offseason will likely see more than its share of teams make changes to their head coach and general manager positions.

With all that in mind, here are 5 teams that will likely be hitting that reset button this offseason.
