In a season that spans multiple months, the Major League Baseball schedule comes down to one game. San Francisco Giants, Kansas City Royals, winner take all. Here’s how they’ll look.

More from Kansas City Royals

Here we go baseball fans, 162 games, a month’s worth of postseason play, and a seven game series. We have come to this, and the San Francisco Giants and going to try and knock off the Kansas City Royals on the road for the title of World Series Champion.

After a drubbing last night by the Royals, San Francisco will look to keep game 7 competitive. The Royals would have to have the advantage after watching the Giants burn through much of their bullpen last night. Also, the numbers are on their side. The Royals are looking to become the 9th team out of the last 11, to go home down 3-2 in the World Series and win.

Bruce Bochy has yet to lost a playoff series as the manager of the San Francisco Giants, so something has to give.

Game 7 is just hours away, here is how both teams will line up:

Kansas City Royals

Alcides Escobar SS

Nori Aoki RF

Lorenzo Cain CF

Eric Hosmer 1B

Billy Butler DH

Alex Gordon LF

Salvador Perez C

Mike Moustakas 3B

Omar Infante 2B

San Francisco Giants

Gregor Blanco CF

Joe Panik 2B

Buster Posey C

Pablo Sandoval 3B

Hunter Pence RF

Brandon Belt 1B

Michael Morse DH

Brandon Crawford SS

Juan Perez LF

Both of these lineups are absolutely stacked. There is next to no hitter that’s an automatic out, but the Royals have to have the upper hand with Juan Perez in left field tonight. Bochy is going back to Perez instead of playing converted first basemen, Travis Ishikawa.

Tim Hudson will look to have a better start than his first outing in the series, and the Giants will need him to with a depleted bullpen. Although Madison Bumgarner is available out of the pen, he throw over 110 pitches just three days ago.

The team of destiny is looking to take down the dynasty, strap on your seat belts ladies and gentleman, this one is going to be fun.
