After the Miami Heat lost LeBron James in the offseason, many assumed the franchise would all but crumble.
However after re-signing Chris Bosh the Miami Heat also brought in Luol Deng and filled up their roster with solid veteran talent. Would it be enough to keep the Heat competitive though? So far, so good as they’ve started out with a 2-0 record and have looked rather convincing in both victories.
Some might say they’re shocked at the Miami Heat’s solid start to the season but not Chris Bosh who expected such.
Despite the two good games, you certainly don’t want to count your chickens before they hatch and the Miami Heat still have another 80 games to go. Still both the players and organization have to feel pretty good after starting their season off on the right foot.
So often you see a franchise lose their star player and struggle out of the gate. No player in the NBA is more important than LeBron James so few would have begrudged the Miami Heat for struggling with their new James-less offense.
It appears as if they have no intention of doing such however as they look to be one of the deeper and talented teams in the Eastern Conference.
Hopefully for those in South Beach, they’ll be able to continue with their winning ways.
