Jordan Cameron of the Cleveland Browns could be out two weeks due to a concussion that he sustained during his team’s week 8 game as the NFL schedule flips to the second half of the season.

The Cleveland Browns face the prospect of playing their next two games without their stud tight end Jordan Cameron. That is bad news for an offense that has already started to sputter in recent weeks.

Cameron could miss the next two games due a concussion sustained in week 8. It certainly doesn’t help things that the Browns are slated to play the Thursday night game in week 10.

Jason La Canfora of CBS reports the following about Cameron’s concussion:

"Cameron sustained a direct blow to the back of his head and was eventually ruled out for today’s game. Sources say it is also very unlikely Cameron plays Thursday night against division-leading Cincinnati. Cameron’s latest concussion, the third of his career, has cast some doubt over his short- and long-term future."

For now, the Browns will likely take things on a week-to-week basis. Considering the fact that they will have 10 days to rest and get healthy between weeks 10 and 11, it only makes sense to keep Cameron out until then. At that point they can re-engage the league’s concussion protocol and determine Cameron’s status.

Through eight games this season, Cameron has 13 receptions for 250 yards and one touchdown.
