On Sunday afternoon, the NASCAR Chase for the Cup standings will be in for a shake up following the AAA Texas 500.

Today’s race is set to begin shortly after 3 p.m. ET at Texas Motor Speedway.
Matt Kenseth, who enters the race in fourth-place in the NASCAR Chase for the Cup standings, sits on the pole while current leader Jeff Gordon is on the outside. Jimmie Johnson, Kurt Busch and Kevin Harvick round out the top five.
There are just three races remaining in the season.
After today’s race, NASCAR will head to Phoenix to finish off the Eliminator Eight, before heading to Homestead for the final race of the season.
