NASCAR at Texas starting lineup for AAA Texas 500

Entering today’s race, the Eliminator Eight are jockeying for position for the final four spots in the Chase for the Cup.
Entering today’s race, Jeff Gordon sits atop the standings, with Ryan Newman, Joey Logano and Matt Kenseth occupying the top four spots. All four drivers will be starting the race in the top 10.
Matt Kenseth sits on the pole while Gordon is on the outside.
Logano starts in the No. 10 spot and Newman will be beginning the race in the No. 7 position.
The Jimmie Johnson sits at No. 3, Kurt Busch at No. 4 and Kevin Harvick at No. 5 for the NASCAR at Texas AAA 500.
