Pittsburgh Steelers join in ‘selfie’ craze during Baltimore-Pittsburgh game Sunday night

LOL I LOVE IT.

More from Baltimore Ravens

“The Selfie”, as I’m going to dub it (and hope it starts trending), is apparently a regular thing for the Pittsburgh Steelers- but now it’s got even more significance. It’s literally sweeping the league.

Fans of teams that aren’t Pittsburgh got a glimpse of ‘the selfie’ when Houston Texans superstar JJ Watt made a selfie pose over Tennessee Titans QB Zach Mettenberger during the game last week.

He did it in an attempt to get the young star to start taking the game seriously, but it looks like the Steelers have him beat- this is their touchdown celebration. They’ve been doing it since September, because what else would we do to celebrate in today’s professional sports? Seriously, guys, it’s time to get with the times.

As someone with a total loathing of cameras, I’m going to keep my current goal celebration as it is, which I never get to use because I’m always in net. The struggle is real.

The Steelers, who are hosting the Baltimore Ravens for Sunday’s late night game, hold a 22-10 lead at halftime. Both teams are 5-3, so don’t expect TOO many more ‘selfie’ celebrations tonight
