Things didn’t start off very well for the Minnesota Vikings or quarterback Teddy Bridgewater on Sunday morning though they’ve become much better in the hours since.
After falling behind 10-0 to the Washington Redskins, Bridgewater knew he had to put points on the board come to Vikings next possession. That’s exactly what he did as the rookie signal caller lead his team down the field and into the red zone.
Not wanting to settle for a field goal, the Vikings called a perfect pass play allowing Teddy Bridgwater to float the pass over the opposition. Of course he still had to covert the play, which he did, allowing the Vikings to claw back within three points.
The beautiful touch pass was just the start of the Minnesota Vikings comeback as they eventually took a 14-10 lead over the Washington Redskins and Robert Griffin III in the third quarter.
Of course with plenty of time to play it’s anybody’s guess who will come out victorious though Teddy Bridgewater is certainly doing his part. The pass also helped erase the earlier blunder in which he missed a wide oden Cordelle Paterson who very well could have had a touchdown if he had secured the pigskin with a better throw.
