It appears as if the spotlight on former NFL wide receiver Terrell Owens has dimmed a bit so the over-the-top T.O. has decided to return to television.
Owens, who previously had his own television show on the VH1 network most recently made news for a rather questionable wedding that just as quickly ended in divorce. Now the former Pro Bowl talent will be joining Donald Trump and company as a cast member of Celebrity Apprentice.
Trump, appearing on the Today show unveiled the new cast which includes a handful of well-known athletes including former MLB player Johnny Damon and two Olympic gold medalists in gymnast Shawn Johnson and snowboarder Jamie Anderson.
Terrell Owens is of course the most popular of the athletes to join the cast however.
Much like Owens, it’s not the first television action for Johnny Damon either as the two-time MLB All-Star has previously been featured on WWE Raw though the appearances were rather minimal in nature.
Shawn Johnson meanwhile has plenty of experience in front of the camera as she won her season during her stretch on the popular Dancing with the Stars.
Damon posted a photo of the upcoming cast on his Instagram account:
You’ll likely notice a few familiar faces in that photo as multiple television personalities and fellow reality stars are set to join Owens, Damon, Johnson and company.
