Unfortunately, the Tel Aviv Derby between Hapoel and Maccabi earlier this week was forced to come to an abrupt end when a fan ran out onto the pitch to spark a soccer brawl which ultimately brought an end to the match.
Maccabi midfielder Eran Zahavi was minding his own business, when a shirtless wacko came sprinting onto the pitch from the crowd.
Zahavi had no choice but to defend himself from the idiot fan, so he pushed and kicked the man to keep him at a distance.
Eventually, the fan was taken away by security.
That is when things got really crazy.
For some reason, the referee gave Zahavi a red card for defending himself on the pitch. Zahavi was understandably upset and attempted to get his Maccabi teammates to join him in leaving the field as an act of protest for the god awful call.
That never happened, but the match did end.
More fans decided to run out onto the pitch following the soccer brawl and the match had to be called off. Some of the fans involved in the soccer brawl during the Tel Aviv Derby on Monday were called to the courthouse today, where another brawl broke out outside the courthouse.
You have to love soccer hooligans.
Below is video of the little soccer brawl which broke out on the field.
