Buffalo Bills will soon have a new stadium if it’s up to Terry and Kim Pegula, they just don’t know where yet.

Ralph Wilson Stadium, home to the Bills since 1973, seems to be on the outs, according to the new owners of the Buffalo franchise. The ABC affiliate for Buffalo, WKBW News 7, had this:

"“Well, there’s going to be a new stadium somewhere, that’s all I know,” Terry Pegula said. “The league was pretty emphatic that Buffalo, we’re a small market, needs to be as competitive as we can.”"

The owners are also looking to end the yearly home game the Bills play in Toronto, one the team is 1-5 in since starting the series. The new ownership seems to want to be changing a lot after buying the team for $1.4 billion. They also want to make sure they do it right:

"“We know it’s out there. We understand it. We realize it. But we want to make sure because you only get to build a stadium once,” Kim said. “We want to make sure that when the time comes, that we have done our homework.”"

The Bills are currently 5-3 and fighting for a playoff spot in a very difficult AFC. They also own the longest streak of non-playoff years in the NFL, missing out on them since before the turn of the century. With that in mind, a new stadium could help a lot for the Bills being in a tough division.

The stadium was renovated last year with a new entrance plaza, store, concessions and extra media board designs.
