While many of us may spend hours in the gym attempting to perfect a trick shot, NBA player seemingly knock them down with relative ease.
Case in point, Tuesday night as Dwyane Wade and his Miami Heat were hosting the Houston Rockets. Things didn’t go their way as Miami suffered their first loss of the season, though did so in style thanks to Wade and his famed trick shots.
With Miami nursing a five point lead in the second quarter, Dwyane Wade attempted to fight through a screen though it was deemed to be illegal and the play was whistled dead. Frustrated, Wade who had made his way towards the key bounced the ball in disappointment and it just so happened to flush right through the basket, nothing but net.

The South Beach crowd certainly seemed to enjoy the oddity though Wade and the rest of his Miami Heat teammates didn’t give much of a reaction given the basket was no good. Still, that didn’t make the shot any less impressive. It’s difficult enough to bounce a ball from the key into the hoop let alone doing so on the run like Dwyane Wade did.
By no stretch is it the best or even most difficult dead ball shot we’ve seen though it was still pretty nice.
Wade finished the evening with a very respectable 7 of 11 line en route to 19 points, though struggled on the defensive end against James Harden who put up 25.
