It appears Bill Simmons is doing his best to get fired from ESPN as just weeks after the online personality ripped NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, which resulted in a suspension from the Worldwide Leader, Simmons is at it again.
This time Bill Simmons didn’t target somebody outside of the network however as the man behind Grantland has unloaded at fellow ESPN personality and former NFL player Mike Golic in addition to ESPN Radio.
Golic called Simmons out for a comment he made regarding LeBron James’ return to the Cleveland Cavaliers in which Simmons suggested it reminded him a “tiny bit” about Albert Pujols signing with the Los Angeles Angels.
Simmons, feeling as if the network was cherry picking on his comment, unleashed a verbal rant directed at his employer and fellow ESPN co-worker.
It was one thing to go after the NFL commissioner but given Bill Simmons is now attacking ESPN, you have to wonder how much longer the already volatile marriage will last.
So far ESPN has yet to comment on Bill Simmons’ blasting on social media though you have to figure that will be coming in the relatively near future.
