Terrance West scored a short rushing touchdown as the Cleveland Browns tacked onto their lead against the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday night in a key AFC North game on this week’s NFL schedule.
First Ben Tate scored a rushing touchdown. Then it was Isaiah Crowell. And now, finally, Terrance West has scored his own rushing touchdown. Make it one for all three Browns’ running backs. Everybody’s happy.

The Browns have struggled mightily to get their running game going in recent weeks. For all of the focus on the play of quarterback Brian Hoyer and the pressure on him to perform with Johnny Manziel looming on the bench, the Browns’ biggest problem has been the disappearance of their rushing attack.
To shake things up, the Browns took some carries away from Tate and distributed them to West and Crowell, with West getting the start on Thursday night in Tate’s place.
After seeing the first two rushing touchdowns in this game go to Tate and Crowell, it was only fitting that West finally got one to put the Browns ahead by a score of 24-3.
When you go to bed tonight, the Cleveland Browns will be 6-3 and enjoying a share of first place in the AFC North. West and the running game are a big reason why.
