The Buffalo Bills looked like they were going to be loaded with weapons on offense coming into the 2014 season, and while it hasn’t quite been as potent as one might have predicted there are weapons on that offense.
Going forward that offense could be getting less potent, at least temporarily, as two of those weapons are currently battling groin injuries. Despite the injuries, running back Fred Jackson and wide receiver Sammy Watkins are both optimistic about playing this Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs.
From @RapSheet and me: Bills RB Fred Jackson and WR Sammy Watkins are optimistic they will be able to go today against the Chiefs.

The turn of events for Watkins is especially surprising, since just two days ago it didn’t seem very likely that he’d play. Head coach Doug Marrone said that Watkins couldn’t even practice, keep in mind, just two days ago.
Marrone on if plan is for Watkins to practice Sat: No, I don't think it is until the trainers tell me that he can go. The guy can't practice

And two days ago, Watkins didn’t even know the results of the MRI.
Sammy Watkins not saying much. Said he underwent MRI but doesn't know results. Calls it a nagging injury.
