Kyle Orton continues to enjoy a career revival with the Buffalo Bills after contemplating retirement and being cut by the Dallas Cowboys this summer.
In July, Kyle Orton was a disgruntled backup quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys who was making retirement noises.

He skipped the offseason program but told the Cowboys he’d be reporting to training camp—at which point the Cowboys cut Orton.
After going unsigned through the preseason, Orton inked a deal to back up E.J. Manuel for the Buffalo Bills.
He has since taken over the starting job in Buffalo and got the Bills on the board first Sunday against one of his former teams, the Kansas City Chiefs, with a 25-yard touchdown pass to Chris Hogan (it was a lot more run than pass, but the stats say it was a pass).
Orton came into the game with 1,128 passing yards and nine touchdowns with three interceptions and Buffalo is 5-3 so far this season—including 3-1 in Orton’s four starts.
In two years in Dallas as Tony Romo’s backup, Orton played in four games, started one, and totaled 487 yards passing.
Orton, who has also played for the Chicago Bears and Denver Broncos, is definitely performing well for a retired guy.
