Leon Washington Tries To Fight Baltimore Ravens (Video)
By Josh Hill
The NFL is known for big hits, but sometimes not every hit is met with awe as opponents don’t like seeing their teammate get smacked around.
The Tennessee Titans are trying to salvage part of their season this year, and a signature win for first year head coach Ken Whisenhunt in Baltimore would be something the team needs. Getting smacked around is something that the team does not need and getting someone concussed is very much not what the team wants.

Delanie Walker was on the receiving end of such a hit on Sunday afternoon as he got knocked out of the game agains the Baltimore Ravens. On the play in the first half, Walker got blasted by a blindside hit that knocked him out and concussed him.
Needless to say, Leon Washington took exception to the hit and proceeded to try and fight all the Baltimore Ravens.
Titans fans at the game and at home took exception to the hit as well, and claimed the hit was not of the legal variety. FOX officiating guru Mike Pereira stated not long after the hit that the play was legal and the Ravens did nothing dirty on the hit.
The Titans aren’t playing that bad in Baltimore and this might be a hit that fires them up to beat the Ravens. Then again, a single hit on the team’s starting tight end saw a player get concussed, so maybe this was nothing more than collateral damage on Sunday.
