Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo had a Pro Bowl like final stat line against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Going into the Dallas Cowboys‘ contest against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London, many questioned if quarterback Tony Romo would be ready to play.

Even if he did take the field, you couldn’t help but wonder what type of game Romo would have, right? Would he be effective? Sure, it was the Jacksonville Jaguars but they’ve been playing better defense as of late and have put significant pressure on opposing quarterbacks during the past few weeks.

All that said, Tony Romo was nothing short of phenomenal for the Dallas Cowboys as he torched the Jaguars with a Pro Bowl final line.

Jaguars aside, that’s a pretty impressive line for even the most elite of quarterbacks let alone one returning from injury.

Of course Romo has been playing at a very high level all season and has benefited from the extra emphasis on the rushing game as he’s no longer forced to make wizard-like plays on offense. That has allowed Tony Romo to put up multiple games of 100+ passer rating scores en route to throwing 18 touchdowns through nine games. More importantly Tony Romo has only thrown six interceptions for the Dallas Cowboys and has only lost one fumble in the process.

Needless to say, as Tony Romo goes so do the Dallas Cowboys and the signal caller is certainly putting his name into MVP contention. Granted if DeMarco Murray continues to play at such an elite level that will likely eat into Romo’s more than deserving campaign, but there’s no denying how well Tony Romo is playing right now – injury or not.
