By Bryan Rose
Bob Ryan of ESPN’s Around The Horn attempted to name all the jerseys retired by the Boston Celtics while tap dancing.

If you’re in the Boston area there’s a good chance you read Bob Ryan’s columns as he’s become one of the most respected sports writers in the industry. If you have a television, you probably watch the writer who often appears on ESPN’s Around The Horn.
More often than not you’ll see Ryan praising his Beantown based teams in sports arguments though today things are switching up.
Yes, Ryan is still talking sports though in this instance he’s tap dancing while reciting retired jerseys by the Boston Celtics.
Promoting his new book “Scribe”, Bob Ryan was challenged to name all 21 players who’ve had their uniform hung in the rafters. Could he do it?!
Poor dancing aside, that’s pretty impressive stuff. Most would probably struggle to name ten players who’ve had their jerseys retired by the Boston Celtics, let alone all 21. That doesn’t include the two additional talents who’ve had something retired by the Celtics including the microphone of broadcaster Johnny Most and Jim Loscutoff who oddly enough had his number kept active despite “retiring” it.
It did appear as if Bob Ryan whiffed on a few players but we won’t be too harsh on the ATH guest. I couldn’t name them all sitting down, let alone dancing a jig.
