Buffalo Bills cornerback Leodis McKelvin told reporters that the Bills would ‘beat that ass’ on Thursday against the Miami Dolphins.
The Buffalo Bills may have gifted the Kansas City Chiefs a win, thanks in part to a Leodis McKelvin fumble on a punt return, but don’t think that’s affected their confidence. McKelvin at least believes the team can bounce right back in a few days and beat division rival Miami Dolphins. He made an emphatic statement to that end after the team’s Week 10 home loss.

“S—, we’re going to go out and beat that ass. Point blank. Period,” McKelvin said after the team’s 17-13 loss to the Chiefs, per ESPN.
It’s hard to blame McKelvin for his confidence, even if it comes on the heels of a brutal mistake. The Bills have a three-game winning streak against the Dolphins, largely on the back of their dominant defensive line, which has given Ryan Tannehill fits.
The Dolphins have scored ten points in their last two games against Buffalo, but this time they’ll have home field advantage against a Bills team that has been prone to turnovers and mental lapses at critical times. McKelvin can only move forward to atone for his share of those mistakes.
“S— happens,” McKelvin said. “If you f— up on any kind of thing you’ve got going on … this is my job. It’s my job. I take this s— to heart.”
Let’s just hope that McKelvin’s skills in the secondary on Thursday are more profound than his vocabulary.
