Apparently “Cake Boss” star Buddy Valastro needs to stay in the kitchen as the pastry chef has been having a few rough months.
Not that long after Valastro and his family had to be rescued because the their boat “Killin’ It” (yes, I’m serious) was stranded in dense fog, the baker extraordinaire was arrested on Wednesday night after police saw the reality television star barreling through the streets of New York City.
Allegedly swerving through “Hells Kitchen”, police pulled over the 37-year-old who was driving his 2014 yellow Corvette and put him through the drunk driving tests.
They also gave the “Cake Boss” a sobriety test which he didn’t do so well on considering he blew a .108, above the legal limit of .08.
Now with a failed Breathalyzer, Valastro was handcuffed and taken down to police station where he was booked on the DUI.
Ironically enough, police tailed the TLC star for 12 blocks before finally pulling Valastro over in front of the “Savory Sweet” catering company.
It appears most (outside of the “Cake Boss”) had a laugh over the situation as somebody involved with the arresting authorities made a play on Buddy Valastro’s previous boating incident.
“He was driving erratically … He should stick to boating,” a police source quipped.
Maybe he should just stick to making cake. But stay away from the liquor filled treats, Mr. Cake Boss. Clearly you’ve been eating far too much of those.
