While not everybody is a fan of The Late Show With David Letterman, it’s going to be a sad day when he closes his tenure of the popular late night broadcast as he’s one of the few in the industry who allows full trust from celebrities and musicians appearing on the show.
Case in point? Letterman and actress Jennifer Lawrence who decided to get into the holiday spirit by singing Christmas carols together.
In a bit that would even make Jimmy Fallon jealous (you know he’s thinking of something holiday related as we speak), Letterman beat his competition to the punch and Jennifer Lawrence was her amazing self as usual.
The fact that Jennifer Lawrence admits that she hates to sing in public makes me wonder if this was staged though either way both she and Letterman did a fine job. More importantly, despite her reluctance to do so it seems as if Miss Lawrence could really be a fine singer if she put her heart into it. Of course she needs to like to do it for that to happen and it doesn’t seem as if that’s in the cards. Still, bonus points to her for not only giving it a try but for doing so in front of millions.
