Former MLB player Jose Canseco believes we need to expand tourism into space colonies and travel on comets.

More from MLB

You’d think former MLB slugger Jose Canseco would stay off the computer after shooting his own finger off a few weeks back but apparently the admitted steroid user can still type with nine fingers.

Depending on your views of Canseco, that’s either a horrible or terrific thing, especially if you follow him on social media.

Apparently attempting to keep up with current news events, Canseco decided to tweet about the satellite that attached itself to a speeding asteroid – the first time such had been done in history. Perhaps believing his knowledge of space related topics was increased because he played against the Houston Astros, Jose Canseco wanted to give NASA a hug for their huge accomplishment.

Of course it wasn’t NASA who accomplished the impressive task though apparently Canseco isn’t aware of such. Why he was offering to give out hugs of all things was a little strange, though that wasn’t even the best space related tweet as Jose Canseco believes we’re not far away from owning the Milky Way and that we will eventually travel via comets.

Clearly somebody has been watching far too many space related television shows and movies. I mean, we can’t even make a popcorn bag that doesn’t burn or pop every kernel. Now we’re going to launch a tourism industry in space?!
