If you blinked you may have missed Kris Humphries short marriage to Kim Kardashian a few years ago, but Toronto Raptors fans certainly haven’t forget as they taunted their former player last Friday night in rather hilarious fashion.
With Humphries on the free throw line as a member of the Washington Wizards, fans at the ACC began to chant ‘Kanye’ in reference to Kim Kardashian’s current husband Kanye West.
There are troll jobs and then there are troll jobs. This has to fall in the latter as that was some pretty good natured ribbing.
Credit has to be given to Kris Humphries as he seemed to take the troll job in stride though it’s not as if he had much choice. It may not fall up there with the infamous ‘Who’s Your Daddy’ chant directed at Pedro Martinez a decade ago but it’s certainly within the realm.
So, did it all work? Well, not really as Kris Humprhies who’s become more of a bench player in recent years (not that he was ever much more) had one of his best games of the season statistically.
During his fifteen minutes of playing time the man known once as Mr. Kim Kardashian scored 11 points on five shots and went 5-7 from the charity stripe where he was continually mocked.
Maybe next time they should troll Humphries for looking like the human-version of He-Man. Tell me he isn’t a dead ringer with some long blonde hair.
