Professional wrestling legend and WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan appeared at the Golden State Warriors‘ home game in what appeared to be an attempt to hype up the crowd.
The Warriors may very well be one of the NBA‘s best teams so far this season. The franchise is off to a 6-2 start, and looks to be in prime form to contend with the top dogs of the Western conference. It would be fair to assume their stock is relatively high in the minds of the Oakland faithful.

The same, unfortunately, cannot be said about a once beloved American icon. Yes, Hulk Hogan did appear at the Warriors game last night. Before the team’s 107-99 win against Brooklyn, Hogan was sent out to hype up the crowd for the night’s game. What ensued was one of the sadder opening displays in recent memory.
Hulkamania will never die. At least that is what professional wrestling fans will take stock in. Maybe they are right, within the world of sports entertainment at least. However, it would appear that any crossover relevance the man once possessed is long gone. Maybe it just speaks to what this nation has become. In the end, you have to ask yourself this burning question. Am I a real American?
