Saturday was yet another eventful day in the world of college football, and it will bring a pretty significant change to the AP Poll.
Mississippi State was on one of the better runs this season, however the magical run came to an end on Saturday when they went to Tuscaloosa. The Bulldogs were downed by the Alabama Crimson Tide, making sure that we would have a new No. 1 in college football this week.
Later that night, with the top spot wide open, the Florida State Seminoles had a scare of their own on the road against Miami, however unlike Mississippi State, they were able to prevail. With that win, the Seminoles are now back on top of the college football world in the AP Poll.
