Reggie Bush Is Out Again For Detroit Lions
By Hayden Kane
The Detroit Lions play the Arizona Cardinals in one of the biggest games of the NFL season in week 11, but they will have to do so without running back Reggie Bush in the lineup.
One presumes that the Lions acquired dynamic running back Reggie Bush for games exactly like this one. They are in position as an NFC contender, they are playing a huge game against another NFC contender, and points on offense will be hard to come by. That could make the presence of a play-maker like Bush a significant difference.

Unfortunately for the Lions, they are experiencing the same roller coaster ride with Bush that the New Orleans Saints and Miami Dolphins did previously. It seems that the running back’s body just doesn’t hold up, and between that and other scattered issues, he simply struggles to be a consistent producer.
In this case it is an ankle injury that will keep Bush out of the lineup. Per Ian Rapoport:
In just five games this season, Bush has 191 yards rushing and 169 yards receiving. The Lions presumably have the long view in mind, as they hope to have Bush available for what looks like a playoff run.
The bad news? They won’t have Bush in a game that could go a long way towards deciding the homefield situation in the NFC.
