Much has been said about Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson and his lack of passing touchdowns this season.
Of course the Seahawks aren’t exactly built as a run-and-gun offense rather opting to go with ball security and rushing attacks. That of course includes Russell Wilson who has picked up 500-yards on the ground this season. It’s a significant increase for the signal caller who has expanded his game to include over 55-yards rushing per contest in comparison to last year when Russell Wilson only averaged 33-yards per game.
Such has made opposing defenses alter their schemes against the Seattle Seahawks quarterback who used his nimble feet to escape pressure today en route to throwing an impressive touchdown.
Facing a 3rd and Goal from the 7-yard line, Wilson sat back in the pocket through when pressure leaked he appeared to prepare himself for a run. That’s when he noticed Doug Baldwin streaking in the back of the end zone where Wilson hit him with a bullet pass for the touchdown.
While the play was very nice on Wilson’s part, it was also a solid effort on the part of Baldwin who not only got himself open but held on to the rocket pass with defenders latched on.
