Unless you were sleeping under a rock on Sunday afternoon, you probably saw Denver Broncos wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders get blasted on a terrifying hit against the St. Louis Rams which understandably knocked him out of the game.
If you for some reason missed that, you can watch the destructive blow here, though word of warning: it’s not pretty.
Thankfully it doesn’t appear as if Emmanuel Sanders has come out of the situation any worse as the hope is that he’ll be on the field this weekend for the Denver Broncos. Of course, that might be difficult if he’s dead as noted on his Wikipedia page.
It’s become all the rage in recent months to edit a Wikipedia page to reflect an event that has recently happened, though while slightly chuckle worthy initially it’s probably not in the best taste to suggest a person has died, especially since Sanders’ potential injuries were still unknown. For what it’s worth, the wide receiver seems to be taking the troll job in stride as he wanted everybody to know that he hasn’t passed on.
Perhaps the funniest tweet of them all was a fan who became concerned she was talking to dead people which caught the attention of the wideout.
Thankfully it appears as if its disaster avoided for both Emmanuel Sanders and the Denver Broncos as that hit could have been extremely serious.
