Fantasy Basketball: FanDuel Lineup For November 18th

It is a light night in the NBA again tonight with just four games on tap. That means you FanDuel players will have to choose wisely!

Here is my FanDuel lineup for November 18th:

Nov 14, 2014; Oklahoma City, OK, USA; Oklahoma City Thunder guard Reggie Jackson (15) drives to the basket against Detroit Pistons forward Kyle Singler (25) during the third quarter at Chesapeake Energy Arena. Mandatory Credit: Mark D. Smith-USA TODAY Sports

Point Guards:

Bargain:

Darren Collison, Kings (6.5 million): Collison is producing at the same level as Jrue Holliday on the season at a price that is 700k less.

Worth The Cost:

Reggie Jackson, Thunder (8 million): Jackson continues to fill in admirably for Russell Westbrook. He has the highest per-game average of any PG going tonight, and he is competely worth it. He even put up 30 fantasy points in the debacle that was Sunday’s game against the Rockets!

Overpriced:

Jeff Teague, Hawks (7.1 million): Teague has had quite a few clunkers this year. He is too inconsistent to roll with at this price.

My Lineup:

Jackson and Jrue Holliday (15.2 million): Why Holliday? I had the spare cash, and he is outperforming Collison in the last week.

Nov 8, 2014; Milwaukee, WI, USA; Milwaukee Bucks guard Giannis Antetokounmpo (34) drives for the basket against Memphis Grizzlies forward Zach Randolph (50) in the second quarter at BMO Harris Bradley Center. Mandatory Credit: Benny Sieu-USA TODAY Sports

Shooting Guards:

Bargain:

Giannis Antetokuonmpo, Bucks (5.2 million): He performed well enough in his first start of the season on Sunday that he is getting another crack at it. I doubt he relinquishes the starting job anytime soon, making him one of the best options in the game right now.

Worth The Cost:

Kobe Bryant, Lakers (9.4 million): So much for the sickness slowing him down on Sunday. Kobe still racked up more than 50 FanDuel points, and continues to be a consistent high-end option.

Overpriced:

Alec Burks, Jazz (5.4 million): It is a light day at SG, but there are several other options at or below his price that I like better.

My Lineup:

Antetokuonmpo and Kyle Korver (10.6 million): Korver should be well rested after playing just 14 minutes against Cleveland. He should be primed for a bounceback game.

Nov 10, 2014; Indianapolis, IN, USA; Utah Jazz guard Gordon Hayward (20) brings the ball up court against the Indiana Pacers at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. Mandatory Credit: Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

Small Forwards:

Bargain:

Jeremy Lamb, Thunder (5.4 million): Lamb will continue to see an extended run with all of the injuries in the backcourt for the Thunder. Keep rolling with him!

Worth The Cost:

Gordon Hayward, Jazz (7.2 million): He is streaky, which makes him a bit of a risk, but tonight he is one of the few worth the money.

Overpriced:

Rudy Gay, Kings (8.4 million): Gay is still listed as questionable. Even if he does play, expect a regression with an achilles injury. There is no chance that he plays up to his price tonight.

My Lineup:

Lamb andĀ Wesley JohnsonĀ (9.5 million): Yes, Johnson is struggling, but he is playing a lot. He is bound to break out one of these games. And I wanted Davis, so I have to go cheap somewhere.

Nov 14, 2014; New York, NY, USA; Utah Jazz power forward Derrick Favors (15) controls the ball in front of New York Knicks point guard Pablo Prigioni (9) during the fourth quarter at Madison Square Garden. The Jazz defeated the Knicks 102-100. Mandatory Credit: Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

Power Forwards:

Bargain:

Derrick Favors, Jazz (7 million): Favors continues to produce well above his price range, making him a great cheaper option.

Worth The Cost:

Anthony Davis, Pelicans (11.6 million): There is really no reason not to build your team around him if you like to have a stud.

Overpriced:

Carlos Boozer, Lakers (6.3 million): Boozer is simply unreliable right now. Until he can contribute consistently with his new team, it is best to stay away in daily leagues.

My Lineup:

Davis and Carmelo AnthonyĀ  (20.5 million): I elected to go with two hot hands tonight. Melo is almost as hot as Davis right now.

Nov 12, 2014; Boston, MA, USA; Oklahoma City Thunder center Steven Adams (back) and Boston Celtics forward Jared Sullinger (7) battle for a rebound during the first half at TD Garden. Mandatory Credit: Mark L. Baer-USA TODAY Sports

Center:

Bargain:

Steven Adams, Thunder (4.2 million): His defense has finally put him ahead of Kendrick Perkins in the pecking order. His offense is a work in progress, but he is a starter at just over 4 million. You can’t beat that.

Worth The Cost:

DeMarcus Cousins, Kings (9.7 million): If you don’t want to splurge for Davis, Cousins is a very suitable plan B.

Overpriced:

Al Horford, Hawks (6.9 million): Horford has yet to be much ofĀ a factor this season. Even thought the price looks low for him, he still isn’t producing enough to spend that on him. Jordan Hill is a better option in that price range.

My Lineup:

Adams (4.2 million): I didn’t like any of the middle tier options, and was not willing to clear out my PF’s to go for Cousins.
