The University of Buffalo Bulls will play in the snowstorm which will drop upwards of seven feet of snow in the area by the weekend.

By the time the weekend rolls around, the city of Buffalo will likely have experienced upwards of seven feet of snow this week and things are so bad the NFL is currently looking into the prospect of potentially canceling the Buffalo Bills home game against the New York Jets.

That’s unlikely to happen barring something outlandish, though needless to say the weather is becoming quite an issue for those in upstate New York. As for the University of Buffalo, who has their own home game tonight, they too plan to play in the nasty weather as the school announced on social media today.

They’re even going as far as to provide free hot chocolate to those who actually show up and support the Bulls.

Local weather reports have stated that four feet of snow has already fallen in Buffalo so there is already a blanket of the white stuff covering the ground. Still, it’s apparently not enough to cancel the Buffalo Bulls tilt against Kent State who probably would have preferred to stay back in Ohio.

Not only is Kent State suffering through a 1-9 season to this point, they now have to play in potential blizzard like weather. At the minimum it will be biting cold. Understandably, it’s obvious as to why the Buffalo Bulls are wanting to play in the weather as they’re accustom to such and want to use the home field and weather advantage.

A win for the Buffalo Bulls could shoot them into second place in the MAC East standings.
