Might we be watching the final few games of the San Diego Chargers, Oakland Raiders and/or St. Louis Rams in their current cities?

More from Las Vegas Raiders

This weekend the San Diego Chargers will host the St. Louis Rams, this after the Chargers hosted the Oakland Raiders last week.

Ironically enough, one of those three teams (or possibly even two) may not be calling their current city home for much longer as the three franchises continue to monitor potential relocation to Los Angeles.

There have been reports suggesting the NFL would not like one but rather two franchises in the city that once supported both the Los Angeles Rams and Raiders, though has been void of any franchise since the two organizations departed.

Now it’s possible both could see a return to the city of Los Angeles, along with the San Diego Chargers who continue to remain an option.

“We’re looking into all our possibilities, all our options,” owner Dean Spanos said, via U-T San Diego.

Oakland Raiders owner Mark Davis was a bit more open regarding his affair with LA.

Los Angeles is a great option,” Davis said Sunday, via U-T San Diego.  “We loved it when we were down here.”

The San Diego Chargers have been flirting with the idea of playing in Los Angeles just about as long as the Oakland Raiders have, though the St. Louis Rams are the newest wheel in the three-headed trio. Going against the Rams though is the fact their stadium lease can be broken at season end without any consequence which understandably has many in Missouri concerned.

Relocation is never an easy prospect, both in regards to actually performing such nor for the invested fan base but you can’t help but wonder if we’re watching a team play out their final games in their current city given the desire to bring a team (or two) to Los Angeles in the very near future.
