Ray Lewis was accused of murder back in 2000 but beat the legal system, but 14 years later fans on Twitter were ready to welcome him to social media with endless murder jokes.

It has been 14 years since Ray Lewis was accused of murder and beat the wrap, but no one has forgotten about it. With the decade of loud — very loud — preaching from Lewis and the pompous gig on ESPN, he thought people would forget about the 2000 murder charges and all the highly questionable evidence.

Long story short, no one forgot.

Ray Lewis joined Twitter on Monday night and while he may have thought the timing was perfect with Monday Night Football, what really happened was 14 years of murder jokes came flooding out in glorious social media fashion.

He was right, as the night was filled with reference, jokes and straight up trolls about how Ray Lewis may or may not but probably did kill a guy in 200.

Twitter justice is the new street justice — kind of.
