Tom Coughlin Is Glad He’s Not In Buffalo

New York Giants coach Tom Coughlin is apparently pretty happy about not being in Buffalo Wednesday morning.

Tom Coughlin’s team might have 99 problems, but having to play in Buffalo this weekend is obviously not one of them, and the coach is pretty happy about it, according to a Tweet he posted Wednesday morning.

"“Good morning. We could be in Buffalo. Smile.”"

As nearly everyone knows by now, Buffalo is under a pile of snow, over five feet, and they expect even more snow to fall through at least Thursday night. The game scheduled between the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets might even be delayed until Monday, thanks to players not being able to get to practice and well, a lot of snow.

Meanwhile, the weather in Rutherford, New Jersey, the location of MetLife Stadium, is a nice, toasty 33 degrees Fahrenheit. More importantly, there isn’t any snow in the forecast and, in fact, the temperature should be up to 54 degrees for the Giants’ game against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night.

The Giants and Coughlin are preparing to face the Cowboys and avoid their sixth straight loss, even as former running back Tiki Barber says Coughlin should be fired. Giants quarterback Eli Manning rejected that idea on Wednesday via ESPN New York, saying that players also need to be accountable. The rest of the Giants team seems to be pretty optimistic about the rest of the season, with safety Antrel Rolle even saying they can win out and make the playoffs.

Nothing wrong with optimism.
