Browns’ Joe Haden Cracks Top 10 Of Jersey Sales

Cleveland Browns cornerback Joe Haden has climbed into the top 10 of NFL jersey sales for the first time.

The folks over at the Jersey Report have been keeping track of jersey sales at DICK’s Sporting Goods stores around the nation and online. They create lists of the top 10 highest selling jerseys in the NFL on a regular basis, dividing it into several categories, overall, offensive, defensive and rookie for example.

As you might expect the overall list is dominated by offensive players, the stars of the NFL in some regard. While Carolina Panthers linebacker Like Kuechly has consistently been in the top-10, no other defensive player has been a regular face on the list.

That might not be the case anymore, as Cleveland Browns cornerback Joe Haden cracks the top-10 for the firsts time, which is interesting given the popularity of other offensive players on the Browns like Brian Hoyer and Johnny Manziel. Haden’s jersey sales have come primarily from the Ohio area too, getting little help from outside the Browns’ footprint.

Haden’s sales are pretty evenly distributed as well. The men’s jersey is the biggest seller at 52 percent, followed by the youth at 34 percent. The women’s version of his jersey accounts for 14 percent of sales.
