Buffalo Bills Won’t Practice Thursday Due To Snow Ban
By Cory Buck
The Buffalo Bills will miss their second straight practice because of a snow storm that has prompted a travel ban in Erie County.
If the Buffalo Bills are going to beat the New York Jets in Week 12 action, they’re going to have to do it with less preparation than usual and possibly at a time later than scheduled. Thanks to an unprecedented heaping of snow over Western New York, city officials have enforced a travel ban that caused the team to once again cancel practice on Thursday, per Adam Benigni at WGRZ.

While Fred Jackson certainly made the most of his time off by playing with his kids, he also called this lack of practice a ‘huge disadvantage‘. Jets coach Rex Ryan disagreed, saying it was no big deal since the two teams know each other so well.
What both are discounting at this point is the likelihood that this game gets moved from its 1 PM Sunday start to a Monday start or later because of the state of Ralph Wilson Stadium.
The Bills are currently offering $10/hour along with free tickets to the game for anyone who wants to brave the weather and come out to help shovel out the four feet and counting of accumulated snow in the stadium. Given the travel ban though, it’s hard to believe the Bills will find enough hands to complete such a chore before the Friday deadline to change an NFL game start, let alone a Sunday kickoff.
