Julio Jones of the Atlanta Falcons missed his second straight practice due to illness, but the team expects him to play against the Cleveland Browns Sunday.
Wide receiver Julio Jones missed practice for the second straight day Thursday because of an illness and two other Atlanta Falcons were sidelined Thursday for the same reason.
Running back Steven Jackson and fullback Patrick DiMarco were also out Thursday, according to coach Mike Smith.

Purely speculating, I’d say the illness is being spread in the offensive huddle.
The Atlanta Journal Constitution reported Thursday that Smith expects all three sick guys to be available when the Falcons host the Cleveland Browns.
Despite a 4-6 record, Atlanta leads the NFC South—the dumpster fire of the NFL this season whose teams have combined for a 6-20-1 in games not against other members of the sad, sorry division.
Jones, who returned this season after missing 11 games last year due to a fractured foot, leads the Falcons with 67 receptions and 912 receiving yards, scoring three touchdowns. A Pro Bowler in 2012, Jones was the sixth overall pick by the Falcons in the 2011 NFL Draft out of Alabama.
Jackson is Atlanta’s leading rusher this season wtih 467 yards and has four touchdowns. DiMarco has seven catches for 50 yards and a score.
