Sometimes we get the really flashy dunks, from 360s to the Tomahawk jam. Other times we get dunks that feel so simple yet are so sweet to see. That was the case on Wednesday night with Shabazz Muhammad, as the Timberwolves sophomore forward decided that he was going to put on a show out of absolutely nowhere.

Shabazz just felt like going up with the one hand, and slam it while Knicks’ center Samuel Dalembert could do nothing but watch hopelessly.

After the really bad pass that ended up being a turnover, they just kind of let Shabazz go. It was a play that lit up the Target Center, and the broken heart of Timberwolves hoping for something positive to happen in the near future. Muhammad actually granted that wish, in a way, by following up his dunk with an alley-oop.

Shabazz Muhammad would go on to finish the night with 17 points and a plus-13 while on the floor, as the Wolves went on to win the game and notch another big night on their young belt.
